What we are doing at daycare in the month of February 🥰🥰
Welcome back Kids ‘N Colors Families! February is here, the month of love and friendship. We continue to encourage all of our parents and guardians to use the Brightwheel App! Staff will be having parents sign in and sign out their child using their parent pin on our new check in check out tablet. The app is used in order to communicate and stay up to date with all things Kids ‘N Colors, as well as for updates on your children.
Little House:
This month our preschoolers will be diving into many new topics as review will begin to be sent home as HOMEWORK! We encourage all our children to participate in completing their homework as when they bring it back, they earn a stick on their sticker chart. These stickers lead them to a prize from the prize box! Every child has been assigned a homework folder, these folders will be sent out on Thursdays, the items in the folder stay home and the folder is returned on Friday. Homework is turned in the following week.

Bungalow:
As our school aged learners begin to make their way closer to spring break, we continue to ask that all electronics stay at home as our policy has changed. We will continue to provide homework help, tutoring, and much more to fully support them along the way with the remainder of the school year!
But the fun doesn’t end! We continue to have fun crafts planned for our school aged children as well. With this being the month of love and friendship, we will have fun origami lessons, and beautiful floral crafts to make.
This month the Bungalow will be having their annual Valentines Potluck on Friday, February 16th! We will have spirit week leading up to the event and will be closing early that day in observance of President’s Day on the 20th.
